Carlson Hotels Selects QL2 for Pricing Optimization

Carlson Hotels Worldwide has selected QL2 for the Carlson Hotels Stay Night Automated Pricing (SNAP) initiative. QL2 will provide on-demand data on competitive and market dynamics for 700 of the Carlson Hotel properties in the United States and Asia Pacific. Carlson Hotels includes over 1,030 hotels in 72 countries under the brands Regent® Hotels & Resorts, Radisson® Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM and Park Inn®.

The data hotels rely on when considering revenue management solutions is highly dynamic. QL2 gathers and provides data on properties, rates, amenities, and other relevant industry factors allowing Carlson to move both rapidly and strategically.

QL2 Visualization & Reports
QL2 Visualization & Reports is the most recent enhancement to our QL2 Live platform. Access to data is only part of the equation. Converting vast amounts of data into a manageable view can provide insights into the data by providing a look at millions of data points in a single view. These views can be accessed by multiple users within your organization. A single yet interactive picture of the data allows all users in your organization to see instant updates and adjustments to the data, ensuring strategic decisions are made on the most reliable and reusable data. The QL2 Visualization & Reports solution also supports summarization of the data to drill down and focus on your key issues.

The view above displays whether you are winning or losing or meeting your competition over a period of time.

For Example: I was lower than my competitor for flights on June 2nd, and on June 3rd I was higher than my competitors for searches run on June 1st. Then on June 2nd I matched price with my competitors for flights leaving on June 3rd.

The view above displays the minimum advance purchase a farebasis is available for a specific flight. This view shows if a farebasis is available or not.
