Russ Aldrich, Director

Russ has more than 35 years of experience, both as an executive in the software industry and as a managing director in venture capital firms. Russ serves as the Chairman of the Board and CEO. Prior to joining QL2, Russ was engaged on a project with the Office of Technology Transfer at the University of Washington and Executive Director of Guide Ventures LLC, a Seattle-based venture capital firm. As a venture capitalist, Russ has helped multiple companies grow from ideas to multi-million dollar ventures. His portfolio includes successful Pacific Northwest companies such as AdRelevance (acquired by Media Metrix), Virtual Relocation (acquired by TMP Worldwide) and ShareBuilder (acquired by ING). Over the past three years as a CxO-level consultant, he has assisted early stage start-ups to achieve their goals. Aldrich has a keen understanding of database technology and connectivity and he was a co-founder of Simba Technologies, Microsoft's partner in the development of open database connectivity (ODBC). Earlier in his career he served in executive roles at a number of innovative companies including Silicon Graphics, Unisys, Altos Computer Systems, Apple Computer and Xerox.

Bob Genise, Director

Bob, an early investor in the QL2, was responsible for building Boullioun into one of the world's top leasing businesses. Bob grew Boullioun from its inception in 1988 and growing its asset base to more than $3 billion, with $250 million in annual revenues, at the time of its sale in 2005. As Senior Vice President of Marketing and founding shareholder Bob was responsible for the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan, and for its business development. He also represented Boullioun in development of Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise as a joint venture with Singapore Airlines and served as a director for 10 years.

Bob had previously been SVP of the Chemical Business Credit Corp. at the Chemical Bank, managing its asset-based finance and leasing business in credit, marketing and administrative capabilities. These assets included commercial aircraft. Later he served as Managing Director for the bank's Special Finance Group, based in London. Under his new role Bob was responsible for all of Chemical Bank's international aviation banking and leasing business, developing a portfolio from $800 million to over $2.5 billion inside two years.

Bill Tenneson, Director

Bill is a Managing Director of Digital Partners and past President of Kirlan Venture Capital. Prior to joining Kirlan in June 1999, Bill was Managing Director at FirstCorp Ventures, a venture capital debt and venture-leasing firm. During his three-year period at FirstCorp he invested in 35 Pacific Northwest companies including InterNAP Network Services, HomeGrocer.com, TeraBeam Networks, Captura Software, DiscoverMusic.com, Point.com, AdRelevance, and Reflex Communications.

Prior to FirstCorp Ventures, Bill was Senior Vice President at the Paul Allen Group, a sister company of Vulcan Ventures. He was also a consultant to The Walter Group, a wireless telecommunications consulting group. In 1986, he founded the West Coast office for Comdisco Ventures in Menlo Park, California. While at Comdisco, he financed over 60 venture-backed companies beginning with Sybase in 1986. Bill also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Fios, Inc. and Wavelink Corp. He is Past President of the Evergreen Venture Capital Association.
